Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...
It's never enough for the Wilsons to go to some Christmas tree lot and just buy a tree. That might well be a form of sac-relig 'round these parts. Yes, every year, we make an annual trek to a tree farm, and we chop down our own. And, as you watch the video, I'm sure you'll see why it's a lesson in humor, patience, and making sure you have enough of the spirit of the season for yourself, and everyone around you. We go to Glove Hollow Farm in Plymouth, NH. Nifty lil' place: they have tractors you can ride on and even a horse-drawn carriage. But some years, it's easier to just drive our car. Last year, we ended up cutting our tree in the dark by a flashlight, but it's always an adventure! It's a place where we ultimately run into friends, as you'll see my friend Cilla. We ran into several families we knew this year... it's just a fun way to chop down the tree! Have patience with the video, Reed took my toy and starting filming. I guess I can't complain too much, though. It's the only time I get to be in a video or picture!
